According to Pars Oil and Gas Company, Touraj Dehqani reported the successful completion of drilling, perforation, and acidizing operations for the ninth well at the SPD11B platform of Phase 11. He said that by connecting the SPD11B-09 well to the production platform and completing final tests, the platform's daily production capacity for raw gas has increased by more than 2 million cubic meters.
Dehqani stated that the rich gas production capacity at the SPD11B platform was 720 million cubic feet per day prior to the ninth well's commissioning. He added that with this new well now online, the rich gas production capacity at Phase 11 has reached approximately 800 million cubic feet per day (over 22 million cubic meters).
The CEO also reported that the total cumulative rich gas production from Phase 11 before the start of the current administration was 137 billion cubic feet. He said this figure has increased approximately threefold with the drilling of new wells, reaching 370 billion cubic feet as of late July.
Dehqani emphasized that the commissioning of this well is a step toward achieving the developmental objectives of the shared South Pars field and improving the country's energy balance.
