Managing Director Ebrahim Piramoun said the projects focus on gas collection and injection, upgrading processing facilities, securing pipelines and improving support infrastructure for the oil industry. Most projects are located in Khuzestan Province, with several in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.
The initiatives include building gas collection and injection stations, replacing outdated compressors and gas transmission networks, upgrading Karun flares, collecting and marketing associated gas, installing electric desalters, constructing a brine evaporation pond, building a concrete structure and Jarrahi overpass bridge, installing a multiphase pump, enhancing pipeline safety, constructing a fire station and other infrastructure upgrades.
Piramoun said the projects have been allocated about 5 trillion rials and €194 million. He added that their completion will enhance oil and gas production stability, reduce environmental pollutants, safeguard national resources and improve operational safety.
“These projects demonstrate the South Oilfields Company’s strong commitment to sustainable development, higher efficiency and advancing the strategic goals of the oil industry,” he said.
