According to NIOC, these fields, with a combined in-place gas volume of approximately 18 trillion cubic feet, are located in the south of Fars province. With the signing of this MOU and the development of the Halegan and Shahini gas fields, daily production is projected to be approximately 35 million cubic meters of gas and 25,000 barrels of condensates.
Other objectives of this agreement include attracting the necessary investment for the development of the two fields, supplying feedstock for steel and mining industries, and helping to reduce the country's gas deficit.
