Refineries operating at full capacity

SHANA (Tehran) – The deputy chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s Energy Committee praised the efforts of oil industry workers during the 12-day war, stating that all refineries are currently operating at full capacity, with fuel transportation and distribution proceeding smoothly.

Ramezanali Sangdovini highlighted the key measures taken by the Oil Ministry during the conflict, emphasizing that the ministry—particularly the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company—demonstrated effective and dedicated performance. He noted that there were no disruptions in the transportation of petroleum products, both light and heavy, or in fuel supply and distribution. Even in Tehran and other major cities, no shortages were reported.

Regarding the National Iranian Gas Company’s role during the 12-day war, Sangdovini stated that the company ensured stable fuel supply to power plants and took appropriate measures. Despite part of the South Pars Phase 14 being targeted in an attack by the Zionist regime, repair operations began immediately.

The deputy chairman added that all refineries and power plants continue to operate at full capacity, with fuel transportation and distribution running smoothly.
