Major oil projects in Dehloran nearing completion

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company announced that the Dehloran gas compression station will be operational by Azar (late November-December).

Hamid Bovard said the completion of this project, along with NGL 3100, will fully capture associated and flare gases in the region. The official inauguration is planned with the president or senior government officials in attendance.

Bovard, representing the government at the Dehloran County administrative council meeting on Thursday, highlighted his field visit to the gas compression station. He stated, "Two key pillars for Dehloran’s progress are the oil industry and agriculture, which, if utilized properly, can drive the region’s development leap."

He added that the NGL 3100 plant will soon launch in the area, and upon successful final testing, it will begin production, generating revenue for the oil industry.

Bovard emphasized that the Dehloran gas compression station will also be operational by Azar, noting that once both projects are completed, nearly all associated and flare gases in the region will be captured. Plans are in place for their official opening with the president or senior officials.

Stressing the priority of hiring locals for oil projects, Bovard said, "All contractors have been instructed to prioritize local recruitment, a policy strictly followed in Ilam Province."
