According to the website of Iran’s First Vice President, Mohammadreza Aref emphasized during Monday’s session that no project in the 14th administration will be approved without thorough economic review and alignment with the country’s needs.
Referring to past experiences, Aref noted that some major projects were implemented without considering resource constraints and economic priorities, now requiring significant investment. He stressed the need for strict discipline in resource allocation.
During the meeting, held at the First Vice President’s office, the Oil Ministry presented its proposal for the Changouleh Oil Field Development Plan. Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and energy experts provided detailed information on reserves, daily extraction capacity, and required investments. Following discussions, the plan was approved.
