Mohammad Halvaei stated that APEC’s presence aims to strengthen industry relations, support members, and improve the investment climate. He described the exhibition as a valuable opportunity for negotiations, knowledge-sharing, and facilitating production and investment in Iran’s oil and gas sector.
Halvaei noted that a comprehensive informational package on APEC’s performance over the past year has been prepared. It includes reports on advocacy efforts, streamlined permit issuance, international collaborations, and member support initiatives, which will be shared with attendees.
The APEC chairman also revealed plans for the upcoming year, focusing on regulatory transparency, support for domestic contractors, expanding international ties, and providing specialized training. These initiatives will be introduced at the exhibition.
Halvaei emphasized that the exhibition serves as a key platform to address industry opportunities and challenges, expressing hope that it will attract investment and secure funding for major oil and gas projects.
The 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition will take place from May 8-11 at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds, with APEC hosting industry professionals in Halls 8-9.
