Shahram Ahmadi stated that, on the orders of the oil minister, a group of HSE officials and experts from the oil industry were immediately sent to the site.
Ahmadi noted that the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company has mobilized resources, dispatched equipment and firefighting teams, and taken on a support and coordination role at the scene. Under a pre-established plan by the Passive Defense Organization, Persian Gulf Star Oil Company has been designated as the lead authority for industries in western Hormuzgan province. Operational teams from the company, along with Bandar Abbas Refinery personnel, arrived quickly and remain on-site.
Ahmadi emphasized the full mobilization of the oil industry’s resources in Bandar Abbas, including Persian Gulf Star Refinery, Bandar Abbas Refinery, Hormuzgan Regional Oil Products Distribution Company, pipeline and telecommunications units, Pars Special Economic Zone, Sarkhoon and Qeshm Gas Refining Companies, and elite oil industry firefighters.
He added that four fire trucks and 10 firefighters were dispatched from Pars Special Economic Zone. In total, 20 fire trucks and necessary equipment—including four water tankers, 10 foam fire trucks and six multipurpose fire trucks—have been sent to the site by various regional oil companies.
Ahmadi stressed the operational readiness of local oil facilities, confirming no damage had been reported. The oil industry remains fully prepared to support operations, with facilities under close monitoring to resume normal loading and unloading. Safety protocols are also being strictly enforced.
Under crisis management laws, senior emergency response officials are leading operations, with the oil industry providing support, equipment and personnel in coordination with on-site command.
