Hamid Bovard made the remarks on Thursday during a meeting addressing challenges and solutions for enhancing the agility of the NIDC.
He highlighted the company’s unique combination of experience and technical expertise, stressing the need to modernize its fleet, improve productivity, and reduce drilling rig downtime.
Bovard underscored the NIDC’s critical role in Iran’s oil sector, stating, “The National Iranian Drilling Company must strengthen its regional market position by modernizing equipment, utilizing advanced technologies, and streamlining processes.”

The CEO also emphasized the importance of reducing rig downtime, noting that minimizing unnecessary delays and accelerating operations are key to improving drilling performance. 
He called for practical solutions to address these challenges.
