On Sunday, during the first day of theT Petrotech Conference in Tehran, seven agreements related to technological advancements in the oil industry were signed by senior oil industry executives, involving state-run and NTBFs.
One of the agreements, titled "Production and Field Evaluation of Oil and Gas Well Completion Fluid as a Substitute for Calcium Bromide," was signed by Ebrahim Piramoun, CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), and Mostafa Mansourizadeh, CEO of Petro Pajouhan Nano Gostar Company.
NISOC also signed another agreement for the "Localization of 20-inch, 10.562-inch thick, Grade 60X Casing Pipes," which was signed by Piramoun and Mohammadreza Daniali, CEO of Ahvaz Pipe Manufacturing Company.
On the sidelines of the first day of the conference, the National Iranian Gas Company signed a contract for the supply of Methyl Diethanolamine (MDEA) with an oil and petrochemical equipment supplier. The agreement was signed by Saeid Tavakoli, CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company, and Meisam Saremi, CEO of Petro Toloo Fanavaran Petrochemical Company. MDEA is widely used in natural gas sweetening processes in refining and petrochemical industries to remove hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, preventing pipeline corrosion and maintaining the thermal value of natural gas.
The Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) signed two agreements. The first was with a manufacturing company for the "Production and Localization of 6 to 9 Megawatt Turbo Generators for Solar Taurus 70 Turbines," signed by Ahmadreza Rasti, CEO of IOOC, and Hassan Helali, CEO of Middle East Turbine Machine Company.
IOOC also signed another agreement with an NTBF for the "Design, Construction, and Operation of an Industrial Wastewater Treatment System for Qeshm Processing Facilities to Meet Environmental Standards." This agreement was signed by Rasti and Kamal Khodaei, Chairman of the Board of Petro Pak Azma Company.
Arvandan Oil and Gas Company signed an agreement with a knowledge-based company for the "Supply of Crude Oil Sulfur Measurement Devices," signed by Abdollah Azari Ahvazi, CEO of Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, and Seyed Alireza Khoshniat-Moqaddam, CEO of Navandish Fanavaran Sanat Arvand Company.
Lastly, an agreement for the localization and initial production of an Integrally Geared Compressor (IGC) at the Lavan Refinery was signed by Karim Torabi-Ardakani, Deputy CEO of Lavan Oil Refining Company, and Sina Ebrahimi, CEO of Iran Machine Development Industrial Company.
The Third Petrotech conference is underway on Sunday and Monday with the participation of subsidiaries and affiliates of the Ministry of Oil, attended by senior oil industry executives at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.
