On Monday, NIOC Head Hamid Bovard met with Roman Marshavin, Russia’s deputy energy minister, and emphasized the need to enhance Iran-Russia collaboration in the energy sector, as well as the development of oil and gas fields.

Bovard highlighted the significance of deepening ties with Russia and establishing long-term relations, stating, "Given the vast scope of Iran’s oil industry, Iran and Russia can collaborate effectively across various sectors of the oil industry. By implementing joint projects, we can create a solid foundation for expanding long-term cooperation."

Marshavin for his part welcomed the expansion of cooperation with Iran, saying, "We are committed to strengthening collaboration with Iran and fully support all joint projects between the two countries."
