Keramat Veys-Karmi stated that the delivery of power plant fuel (gas oil and fuel oil) during the winter of 2024 has exceeded the mandated amount. He noted that the daily average delivery of gas oil to power plants is mandated at 50 million liters. However, the average daily delivery in December was 51 million liters, in January it was 54 million liters, and from the beginning of February to Feb. 13, it reached 53 million liters.

Veys-Karmi added that from the start of December to Feb. 13, an average of 53 million liters of gas oil were delivered daily to power plants, marking a 37% increase compared to the same period last year.

He further highlighted that the delivery of gas oil to power plants from the beginning of the current year (starting March 20, 2024) to Feb. 13 has increased by 33% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the delivery of fuel oil to power plants has seen a 50% growth during the same timeframe.

Veys-Karmi continued, stating that the total delivery of liquid fuel (gas oil and fuel oil) to power plants from the beginning of the year to Feb. 11 has increased by 40% compared to the same period last year.

He also mentioned that from the beginning of February to Feb. 11, an average of 87 million liters of liquid fuel were delivered daily to power plants, reflecting a 40% increase compared to the same period last year.

Regarding fuel oil deliveries this winter, Veys-Karmi noted that the average daily delivery in December was 25 million liters, in January it was 31 million liters, and in February (up to Feb. 11) it reached 34 million liters, showing increases of 21%, 18%, and 54%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
