Iran’s crude exports unstoppable

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) stated that oil exports, as the cornerstone of economic development, continue uninterrupted thanks to the dedicated efforts of employees across all operational regions.

Abbas Asadrouz emphasized the critical role of oil terminals in supplying over 70% of the country’s foreign currency revenue.

He noted that employees in all operational regions, often stationed far from their families, carry out their duties safely, swiftly, on time, and sustainably.

Highlighting the key missions of IOTC across five provinces—Khuzestan, Bushehr, Hormuzgan, Mazandaran, and Tehran—Asadrouz said more than 90% of the country’s oil is exported from Kharg Island, while 100% of gas condensates are exported from Asaluyeh.

He added that the northern terminals, Mahshahr, and Jask play vital roles in completing the oil value chain.

The CEO stressed that the continuity of oil exports is crucial for the country’s economy and cannot be halted.

Asadrouz praised the role of employees’ families in providing peace of mind and focus for carrying out sensitive missions.

He said, “Our lives should be shaped by Alavi and Fatemi values, with good ethics and faith at the core of our activities. The commitment and efforts of our employees ensure the successful execution of missions in this key industry, which plays a fundamental role in Iran’s economic development.”
