Ali Ahmadi stated that the refinery’s daily production stands at 27.5 million standard cubic meters.
He credited the efforts and teamwork of the refinery’s specialists and staff for producing and exporting over 6.751 billion standard cubic meters of gas during this period.
Ahmadi highlighted the importance of producing odorant, a substance added to natural gas for safety, which has eliminated the need for imports.
He reported that since the beginning of the year (March 20, 2024), approximately 227,000 liters of odorant have been produced at the refinery’s odorant unit through innovation and the use of domestic equipment.
The director also noted the production of other key products at the refinery since the start of the Iranian year (March 2024). These include over 5 million barrels of gas condensate, 25,000 tons of liquid sulfur, and 22,000 tons of solid sulfur.
Ahmadi emphasized that extensive measures have been implemented to ensure sustainable gas production.
He added that the first refinery, like other refineries at the SPGC, will continue to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the country’s economy.
