Mohsen Dehbanpour, speaking to reporters on Saturday on the sidelines of the 15th Khuzestan Specialized Exhibition of Petroleum Industry, Equipment, Manufacturing in Ahvaz, attributed the production boost to supportive measures for producers, experts, and new technology-based firms (NTBFs).
He said the increase was achieved through the use of mobile separation units, well intervention operations, the completion of gas lift systems in the Parsi and Paranj fields, and major overhauls of certain facilities.
Dehbanpour noted that Aghajari’s production commitments for the year are being implemented in alignment with the policies of the Ministry of Oil and with the support of the National Iranian South Oil Company.
Over the past four months, the company has also managed to capture 70 million cubic feet per day of associated petroleum gas from the Aghajari oilfield, which has been supplied to the National Iranian Gas Company as winter fuel.
He highlighted the ongoing associated gas gathering project in the Rag Sefid 1 field, operated by the Bid Boland Persian Gulf Gas Refining Company.
The first phase of the project is set to come online by the end of the year, and upon completion, the volume of collected associated gas is expected to exceed 100 million cubic feet per day.
The 15th Khuzestan Specialized Exhibition of Petroleum Industry, Equipment, Manufacturing is being held in Ahvaz from Jan. 11 to 14 (Saturday to Tuesday) and is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
