First vice president visits Ministry of Oil 

SHANA (Tehran) – Mohammadreza Aref, Iran’s first vice president, attended a meeting of the Ministry of Oil’s council of deputies on Saturday. 

The meeting addressed the latest status of the country’s oil and gas production, winter fuel supply, and measures by the Ministry of Oil to reduce energy imbalances.

This marks Aref’s second visit to the ministry since the start of the 14th administration. He previously attended a ceremony honoring the outgoing and introducing the incoming oil ministers. 

During his earlier meeting, Aref highlighted the ministry’s key advantages, stating, “The Ministry of Oil’s absolute advantages lie in its skilled and outstanding human resources and vast oil and gas reserves. Utilizing this human capital and distinguished, dedicated scientific figures is a top priority for the ministry. Additionally, the country’s oil and gas reserves are critical assets for national development and progress.”
