From the start of Dey through the 15th day, an average of 85.9 million liters of liquid fuel was delivered daily to power plants across the country. This represents a 17.1-million-liter increase, or 25%, compared to the same period last year.
During the first 15 days of Dey, the average daily delivery of diesel was 55.1 million liters, while mazut deliveries averaged 30.8 million liters. These figures reflect a 27% and 21% increase, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
According to data from the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), the average daily delivery of liquid fuel to power plants from the beginning of the current year (March 20, 2024) through Jan. 4, 2025, was 53.8 million liters. This represents a 41.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
