Vice president: 10% gas savings can solve shortage issues

SHANA (Tehran) – Iran's vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy said that a 10% reduction in gas consumption per household would resolve the country's gas shortage problems, allowing everyone to have access to gas during the upcoming cold days.

In remarks on Saturday, during a visit to the 25th Research, Technology, and Innovation Exhibition, Hossein Afshin emphasized the importance of adhering to the 2-degree temperature reduction campaign.

The official stated that, with public cooperation, the gas deficit issue could be resolved.

He also assured that the current administration is committed to solving these challenges, but it requires patience and support from the people to overcome problems that have accumulated over several years.

Afshin added that if every household saves 10% on gas consumption, all issues will be resolved, ensuring that citizens can rely on gas during the colder months ahead.
