The MP stated that the strict implementation of building regulations, along with proper thermal insulation and industrialization of construction, is essential.
Talking to Shana, Nesari highlighted the importance of implementing the Seventh Five-Year Development Plan (2024-28), particularly in the area of energy optimization.
He pointed out that one of the key provisions of the energy optimization law is the proper execution of Section 19 of building codes and the prevention of energy waste, noting that much of the energy is wasted due to non-standard construction practices.
The lawmaker added that managing energy consumption across various sectors by reducing energy waste and upgrading energy transmission equipment could significantly reduce fuel imbalance, creating more opportunities for production.
Nesari also called unmanaged consumption one of the main causes of the country's energy imbalance, stressing that improving the consumption culture within organizations is the first step. This, he said, would eventually allow for more efficient energy use in homes.
He concluded by stating that energy imbalance currently affects the economy and people’s livelihoods, and if not addressed, it will lead to greater challenges in the future.
