South Pars Gas Complex focuses on achieving sustainable gas production

SHANA (Tehran) – The managing director of South Pars Gas Complex announced that employees are working tirelessly to ensure a stable gas supply for the winter season.

Gholamabbas Hosseini highlighted the successful completion of major maintenance projects, sustainable gas production, collaboration with technology-based companies, and efforts to reduce flare gas emissions across 13 refineries as key achievements since the beginning of the year.

The official emphasized that the workforce is fully committed to ensuring a stable winter gas supply for the nation.

He stated that the implementation of high-quality maintenance, production stability, and initiatives to curb flaring have been the complex's standout actions to date.

Hosseini noted that the flare gas reduction project is among the most significant undertakings planned for the current year in the country’s largest gas production complex.

He expressed optimism that with the support of all relevant entities, this critical project will achieve its objectives.

He also stressed the importance of effective collaboration between technology-based enterprises and the gas complex, adding that supporting first-time production, local manufacturers, and innovative companies has been a cornerstone of the organization’s recent initiatives.

“Numerous agreements have been signed with technology-based companies, and the complex is currently collaborating with more than 130 active firms,” Hosseini said.

In the coming months, we aim to take further steps to strengthen this partnership, he concluded.
