Mohsen Paknejad stated that NIOC has been following the necessary preparations in the study sections of the South Pars pressure-boosting project, adding "we will have good news for the people for the finalization of some of these contracts before the end of this year."

Stating that Petroleum Ministry has put an increase in crude oil and gas production on the agenda in the last two months, he said: NIOC has succeeded in increasing the capacity of gas production from the country's gas fields by about 28 million cubic meters per day, and with the measures taken, an increase in crude oil production has also been achieved.
