Head of NPC Appointed

SHANA (Tehran) - Iranian minister of petroleum Mohsen Paknejad appointed Hassan Abbaszadeh as the acting head of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC).

In his letter of appointment to Abbaszadeh, the Minister of Petroleum announced: Considering your commitment, valuable experience and background, you are appointed as the acting head of NPC.

Paknejad added: "With the help of Almighty God, you are expected to actively pursue the missions of the company and its management."

This is the latest replacement in managerial positions of the Petroleum Ministry’ subsidiaries. NPC as one of the main four subsidiaries of the Petroleum Ministry plays a significant role in making foreign currency revenues and its production capacity is expected to his more than 100 million tons this year.

 Iranian minister of petroleum also thanked Morteza Shahmirzaei who was in charge of the post during the 13th administration's 3-year period in office.
