The Minister of Petroleum announced in his message: With a heart full of sorrow and grief, I offer my condolences for the martyrdom of the great commander of the Resistance Front, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Undoubtedly, this heartbreaking loss is a tremendous disaster for the Islamic Ummah.

"Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of this tireless warrior adds a golden chapter to the glorious achievements of Islam and the Resistance while his name will be immortalized in history", the message said, adding: Hassan Nasrallah's honorable path will continue, and the pure blood of this proud martyr will nourish the strong tree of Resistance.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and other senior Iranian officials including former presidents have also condemned the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon's capital city, Beirut.
