The two ministers inked the document in the presence of Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi and his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Five more documents were signed by the two countries’ officials to cooperate in the fields of science, technology, economy, sports, tourism, and media as well as knowledge-based sector.

Heading a high-ranking economic and political delegation, Raeisi arrived in Algiers on Saturday morning and delivered a speech at the 7th Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit of Heads of State and Government later in the day.

Earlier on Sunday, the two presidents held a joint press conference, during which Raeisi said Iran and Algeria are determined to expand their economic, commercial, and political relations.
