Talking to SHANA on the recent sabotage, Farhad Tahmasebi called the terrorist attacks a “blind” act committed by elements affiliated to counterrevolutionary groups, which undoubtedly has no impact on the country’s economic and security.
The MP hailed the Oil Ministry for its efficient management, adding senior officials stepped in immediately and experts repaired the damaged lines as soon as possible to prevent any disruption to gas supply, particularly to the household sector.
“Our enemies are seeking to take revenge on people due to their inability,” said the lawmaker, adding the enemies have never succeeded and will not succeed in the future.
Two explosions struck the gas transmission pipelines at around 1 a.m. local time on Wednesday (2130 GMT), hitting the lines in Borujen, western province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, and Safa-Shahr, southern province of Fars.
