The two sides also inked a joint statement to deepen their strategic relations in the presence of Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi and his Cuban counterpart Miguel Díaz-Canel.
According to the MoUs and documents, Tehran and Havana will cooperate in the fields of energy and mining, science and technology, health, agriculture, communication, and medicine.
Díaz-Canel, who arrived in Tehran on Sunday, was officially welcomed by Raeisi at Sa’dabad Cultural Complex in northern Tehran.
Today's visit of Miguel Díaz-Canel to Tehran is the first after the trip of Fidel Castro, the then Cuban president, to Iran 22 years ago.
In June, the Iranian president traveled to Havana and held talks with his Cuban counterpart.
