Raeisi: Part of Kohgilouyeh and Boyer-Ahmad oil revenues to support production, employment sectors

SHANA (Tehran) – Iran’s president on Tuesday said the Oil Ministry has been obligated to spend part of revenues earned from oil fields of Kohgilouyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province to meet public needs, including production and job opportunities.

On the second day of his provincial visit, Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi described the southwestern province’s rich oil reserves as its great potential for development.

He urged officials to give top priority to addressing problems that can be resolved more speedily and second priority to time-consuming projects such as construction of refinery-integrated petrochemical plants and refineries.

Earlier in the day, the president referred to the inauguration of Gachsaran Petrochemical Complex and Chamshir Dam and added the two projects became operational thanks to redoubled efforts.
