Vahid-Reza Zeidifar, deputy oil minister for engineering, research and technology, and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to the exhibition and Syria’s governmental and private oil companies, discussing bilateral cooperation.

A meeting was also held on the sidelines of SyrPetro 2023 at the invitation of Syrian Oil Minister Firas Hassan Kaddour, during which the minister, his deputies, Zeidifar, the visiting Iranian delegation, and Iran’s Ambassador to Damascus Hossein Akbari exchanged views on implementation of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Iranian and Syrian oil ministries.

Some 60 Syrian and foreign companies took part in the 4th Syrian International Oil and Gas Exhibition, displaying their latest achievements.

The expo kicked off at the Damascus International Fair on July 7 and ended on July 10.
