Bashkortostan minister says Russian republic sends 20 firms to B2B meeting in Iran ‎

SHANA (Tehran) – The industry and energy minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan said 20 companies ‎from the Russian republic have taken part in the first business-to-business (B2B) meeting between Iranian ‎and Russian companies on cooperation in oil and gas sectors.‎

Sheldiaev Aleksandr made the remarks in an address to the opening ceremony of the B2B meeting in ‎Tehran on Tuesday. ‎
He said two months ago, “we traveled to Iran and did the planning for taking part in today’s meeting as ‎well as the 27th Iran International Oil, Gas, ‎Refining and ‎‎Petrochemical Exhibition, aka Iran Oil Show 2023, ‎which will open in Tehran on Wednesday and continue until Saturday.‎
Aleksandr noted that during May 23-26, a similar meeting will be held in Bashkortostan, which will be ‎attended by the Iranian Oil Ministry’s representatives. ‎
He described Tuesday’s B2B meeting as a “very fruitful” one, expressing hope that “favorable and ‎constructive” agreements would be reached and eventually signed between the two countries as a result ‎of it.‎
