According to Pars Behin Qeshm Oil Refining Company, Afsaneh Malekshahi, the head of the refinery, said: “This type of bitumen, which meets the requirements of the bitumen standards required by countries such as China, is one of the most widely used grades of bitumen in this country.”

She said the refinery is the first producer of AH70 bitumen in Iran, and was able to produce this grade in an industrial and pure manner.

“Considering that until now, none of the bitumen producing companies have the possibility to produce this type of bitumen, production of this item is very important in expanding new markets and earning hard currency for the country,” she said.

Pars Behin Qeshm Oil Refining Company, which is a subsidiary of Pasargad Energy Development Group, was launched in February in the presence of the president and is the first extra-heavy oil refinery in the country. One of the most important products of Pasargad Qeshm Extra Heavy Oil Refinery is bitumen in various grades and other hydrocarbon products.
