According to National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Parsa Parvin stated that soon a set of very sensitive and complex parts of a special type of gas turbines will be domestically manufactured with the cooperation of domestic parts makers, and said: "For the manufacture of turbine parts, domestic manufacturers were first identified. Then, by holding several meetings, a working group was formed to determine the evaluation criteria and to observe the equipment and workshop capabilities of the companies, and finally, based on the investigations, a significant saving was achieved compared to the cost of foreign supply of these parts.”

He stated: “Considering that all turbine parts were supplied from foreign sources in the past and factors such as the imposition of sanctions, long delays in the foreign purchase process, dishonoring commitments by some suppliers, and in a few cases supply of low-quality and non-original parts, created many operational risks to the company, domestic manufacturers were sought after to address these risks.”
