The 16th meeting of the joint economic commission of Iran and Russia will be hosted by Russia from Sunday to Tuesday.

Petroleum Minister Javad Owji is the head of the Iranian delegation of this joint commission, and Alexander Novak, the deputy prime minister of Russia, is also the head of the Iran-Russia joint commission from Russia.

Different working groups of Iran and Russia in the fields of oil and gas, transportation, information technology, energy, standards, sports, customs, agriculture, industry, banking and finance, trade and investment, business and education have held their talks since Sunday morning.

These representatives are now focusing on preparing relevant documents for developing relations and identifying cooperation capacities, and the final preparation and signing of these documents and the compilation of the final text of the protocol and joint road map of economic cooperation will be done on Tuesday.
