Iran Oil Sales in 13th Administration Acceptable

TEHRAN (Shana) – Iran’s 13th administration has sold an acceptable level of oil and the country managed to maintain its share in oil market, Iran’s government spokesman said on Wednesday.

The oil sales statistics are provided by authorities and fortunately, the public relations of Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum gave information about it some time ago, Ali Bahadori Jahromi said during a press conference on Wednesday.

Statistics suggest that oil sales in Iran’s 13th government have been at an acceptable level; however, the problems caused by COVID-19 outbreak still persist in some countries which have left impacts on oil sales, he added.

Iran oil has its own markets and the country has found new markets as well, he noted.

Regarding his administration’s plans for dust and sand storms in Iran, he said that sand and dust storms have struck our country over the past years and Iran's Foreign Ministry was commissioned to discuss and have necessary cooperation with those countries which are the main sources of dust and it is following the issue, he said.

The head of Iran’s Department of Environment has recently traveled to Iraq and Syria, which are the main sources of dust storms, and reached good agreements with the two countries’ officials. Iran’s ministries of Petroleum, Energy and Agriculture-Jihad are going to pursue and implement these agreements.
