According to the National Petrochemical Company, Hassan Abbaszadeh stated: "The production capacity of petrochemical products in the country will increase from the current 90 million tons to 95 million tons by the end of the year with the inauguration of 6 new projects."

Emphasizing the support of knowledge-based companies and domestic manufacturers, he said: "Sanctions have lost their character and in the 26th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, several memornda of understanding will be signed on the internalization of catalysts in the petrochemical industry."

The Planning and Development Director of the National Petrochemical Company continued: "Fortunately, 80% of the catalysts required by the industry have been localized and by the end of the 13th administration, all catalysts in the Iranian petrochemical industry will be localized by the Petrochemical Research and Technology Company and knowledge-based companies."
