The new high marks the largest-ever daily gas use in these sectors.

According to the National Iranian Gas Company, consumption in the residential, commercial and small industrial sectors climbed to 737 million cubic meters per day, accounting for about 85% of the total gas delivered to the national network.

The public across all consumption sectors is urged to manage gas use responsibly to help ensure equitable access for all citizens, particularly in northern and northeastern regions of the country.
