Iran Eyes 14 mcm/d Gas from South Pars Phase 11

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The director of integrated planning of the National Iranian Oil Company, referring to the goal of producing 220,000 barrels of oil from the South Azadegan joint field by the end of the current calendar year, which began on March 21, said: “By the end of this year, 14 million cubic meters of gas will be extracted daily from phase 11 of South Pars.”

According to IRNA, Karim Zubeidi stated that by the end of 1401 in the west Karun fields, the first phase of the South Azadegan field should reach the production of 220,000 barrels of oil per day.

He stated that in the South Pars joint field, “we are trying to achieve daily production of 14 million cubic meters from phase 11 of the field by the end of this year,” noting: "Also, the remaining trains of the refinery of phase 14 of South Pars will be operational this year."
