This marks a 23% increase (111 million cubic meters) compared to the same period last year, when 478 million cubic meters were injected.
According to the National Iranian Gas Company, Yahya Feizi reported the installation, launch, and operation of a domestically manufactured gas turbine at the Shourijeh gas storage facilities in the Khanjiran operational zone.
He stated that in the first phase of the facility, which began operations in 2014, foreign-made turbines were installed, and the entire startup process was handled by foreign experts.
Feizi noted that for over a decade, these turbines have been produced by a capable domestic company. The installation, launch, and operation are now fully managed by specialists and technicians from Shahid Hashemi-Nejad Gas Refinery.
The CEO emphasized that all operational parameters of the turbine are normal and fully under control. He added that gas injection is currently 25% ahead of schedule, demonstrating the readiness of infrastructure and the effective use of domestic capabilities in managing the country's gas resources.
