According to the National Iranian Gas Company, Majid Chegeni told a symposium with energy executives and media directors said such figures signal the areas of concern about energy consumption in the country.

He said that many factors affect consumption, adding: "In the field of mechanisms that are used all over the world to reduce consumption, in our country there is little work and people are not properly justified, and as a result gas exports are low and gas-dependent industries are hamstrung.”
