TEHRAN – Official in charge of developing Tabnak gas field noted that gas production from the field will reach 40 million cu. m. per day by June.
Naji Sadouni told Petroenergy Information Network that drilling 30 wells has ended at the field.
The official noted that the first phase of Tabnak gas field can produce 26 million cu. m. gas per day and is currently sending 10 million cu. m. gas per day to Parsian gas refinery.
He stated that eight drilled wells will be complete by June 2005 and construction of the second 30-inch gas pipeline from the field to refinery will pave the way for production of 40 million cu. m. gas.
Tabnak gas field enjoys more than 850 billion cu. m. in situ gas and 540 million barrels gas condensate and is the countrys biggest sweet gas field, which is located in Pars province.
