Manama - The Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received yesterday the Deputy Governor of Qatar Central Bank and Chairman of Gulf Investment Corporation, Shaikh Fahad bin Faisal Al Thani.
Shaikh Khalifa stressed the various investment projects that the establishment financed, affirming the government's execution of further projects that aim to reinforce the infrastructure and upgrade the standard of services in the Kingdom.
He also congratulated the corporation on winning the bid to construct Bahrain's first 1,000-MW Al Ezzel Independent Power Plant (IPP), expressing trust in the capabilities of the private sector to implement large projects. Shaikh Fahad hailed Bahrain's great developments that made it an economic hub in the regions.
