Masoud Karbasian, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, visited RIPI stand at the first day of the 25th Iran Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, during which he learned about RIPI's latest achivments in oil industry.

During the visit, Ezatullah Kazemzadeh, Head of the Upstream Campus of RIPI, while appreciating the support of the National Iranian Oil Company in advancing research activities in the field of field research, said: "The project management office and team building of specialized groups in the research institute are well formed and the progress of these projects are progressing according to schedule."

"In the field of unconventional fields, the most important project is related to the exploration of gas hydrate resources in the Oman Sea, which has made significant progress so far," he said.

He also announced that the institute has recently localized production of 20 strategic items in drilling operations.
