MOGPC Halves Gas Flaring in H1

​​​​​​​TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of Maroon Oil and Gas Production Company (MOGPC) said his company had managed to reduce combustion of associated petroleum gases in its operations by 50% in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

According to the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), Hamid Kavian stated the company also achieved 101% of its planned crude oil output during the period.

Moreover, the company’s naphtha output was 102.5 percent of the item’s planned production during the 6 months, he said.

The official also said that the company, by using MOT and MOS devices, was able to recover 57,000 barrels of crude oil during the same period which improved the overall performance of the company.
