PGPIC Fosters Cooperation with Bank Mellat

TEHRAN (Shana) – The Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) and Bank Mellat have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of improving the level of cooperation.

According to PGPIC, the memorandum was signed between Mohammad Bigdeli, CEO of Bank Mellat, and Jafar Rabiee, CEO of PGPIC, and is focused on promoting the level of cooperation in the field of credit and opening of letters of credit.

During the ceremony, Jafar Rabiee described Bank Mellat as one of the largest and most important commercial banks in the country, and said: "The relationship between Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Bank Mellat has always been based on a win-win relationship and past experiences show that petrochemical credit files have created the lowest dues in the country's banking system.”

Mohammad Bigdeli, for his part, emphasized that PGPIC is one of the bank's important and strategic customers, saying: “Bank Mellat intends to continue its cooperation with this petrochemical company.”
