Assadollah Gharehkhani described the petrochemical industry a leader in the country's economic sector, and said: "This industry has a very important role in the development of the country and if the locomotive of this dynamic industry moves well, the train of the country's economic and industrial development can move faster."

He added: "According to the plans made, the share of Iran's petrochemical industry in the total production of petrochemical products in the world will increase significantly in the next few years, and achieving this important goal requires national determination, interaction and cooperation."
