Speaking in a televised interview, Reza Dehghan, the deputy director of development and engineering affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said that domestic companies were expected to have a 70-percent share in procurement of items and parts for developing the gas field in the Persian Gulf.

By developing the field 500 mcf of sour gas will be added to Iran’s daily output, he said. On Saturday, Petropars signed a deal with the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) to develop the field.
