Hassan Montazer Torbati said Rls. 30,000 billion was invested in gas projects in the southeastern Sistan and Balouchestan province annually.

He said projects with a total value of Rls. 290 billion were to be launched in the province by the end of the Government week.

Until the next three years, Rls. 30,000 billion would be invested in the province in gas projects.

The state-run NIGC is primarily focused on distribution of gas in Iran, unlike the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) which concerns production and selling of crude oil and other petroleum items.
