An analysis of consumption patterns shows that the share of the household and commercial sectors in the national gas network has increased with the drop in temperatures. According to figures released by the National Iranian Gas Company, gas use in the household, commercial and small industrial sectors reached 659.26 million cubic meters on Tuesday.
The data show that the bulk of gas consumption in the country continues to come from the household and commercial sectors, which see higher demand during the cold season. Other consumers, including power plants and large industries, account for a smaller share of gas deliveries.
The National Iranian Gas Co. stressed that managing consumption in the household and commercial sectors plays a decisive role in maintaining network stability and meeting the needs of other sectors. The company urged consumers to follow optimal consumption patterns to help ensure a stable gas supply nationwide.
