According to the National Iranian Gas Company, daily gas consumption in the household, commercial and small industrial sectors stood at 621 million cubic meters on Friday (Jan. 2), representing nearly three-quarters of total gas supplied nationwide.
Officials urged consumers to help manage demand by slightly lowering indoor temperatures and following basic energy-saving practices. Such measures not only reduce household costs but also help preserve valuable national resources and ensure stable gas supplies for all citizens, particularly during the cold season. Responsible consumption, they said, underpins the country’s energy security today and in the future.
