Economic Attaches of 4 Countries Visit PSEEZ

TEHRAN (Shana) -- Iran’s Pars Special Economic Energy Zone hosted economic attaches from Japan, Belgium, South Africa and Azerbaijan.

The CEO of PSEEZ told a meeting of the attaches that cooperation with Iran would benefit the world and global trade.

Pirouz Mousavi underlined the role of Bushehr Province in southern Iran, as crucial in the country’s economy, adding that the region was regarded as Iran’s energy capital.

Most of Iran’s gas fields are located in the vicinities of Bushehr including South Pars, the world’s largest offshore gas field.

“Iran has always sought cooperation with all the countries and the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum is ready to actively cooperate with countries in oil industry,” he said.

Mousavi underlined the economic advantages of investing in the region, adding that Bushehr, given is proximity to high seas and presence of infrastructures, creates a great opportunity for investors keen on bankrolling projects in the upstream, downstream and mid-stream projects in oil industry.
