In an address to reporters on the sidelines of the 24th Iran Oil Show in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Friday (May 3), Mohsen Dehanzadeh put the value of these domestically manufactured products at $7.38 million.
He noted that, “We have also attempted to capture a remarkable amount of associated gases. In addition, we have moved toward improving the combustion efficiency of gas flares. Currently, gas flares do not produce considerable amount of air pollution in the southwestern Iranian province of Ahvaz.”
KOGPC has also decreased gas combustion by flares in one its production units in Ahvaz Province by around 10 million cubic feet by investing $476,190, Dehanzadeh said, adding this has helped the country save $810,000 in revenue.
The 24th Iran International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2019) began on Wednesday (May 1) and will continue until May 4 (Saturday).
